HOW TO PAIR - YOUR SIGNIA HEARING DEVICES TO YOUR IPHONE
Instructions:
  1. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Go to “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Hearing Devices.”
  3. For rechargeable hearing aids, place them in and out of their charger. For non-rechargeable, open and close the battery doors.
  4. When your hearing aids appear on the screen, click on one to get a “Bluetooth Device Pairing Request.”
  5. Select “Pair.”
  6. Repeat for the other hearing aid.
HOW TO CONNECT - YOUR RESOUND HEARING AIDS TO AN IPHONE
Instructions:
  1. Turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Go to “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Hearing Devices.”
  3. Take your hearing aids out of the charger and let them turn on.
  4. Select your hearing aids when they appear on your phone.
  5. Press “Pair” for both hearing aids.
  6. Your programs will appear, and you’re connected.

 

Next, pair your hearing aids to the Resound app on your phone.

 

  1. Download the Resound Smart 3D app.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Take your hearing aids out of the charger.
  4. Click “Connect.”
  5. When prompted, put the hearing aids back in the charger for 10 seconds.
  6. Take them out again.
  7. Click “Okay” on your phone.
  8. Click “Continue.”
  9. You’re now connected to your phone and the app.
  10. Once connected, you can check battery levels, adjust volume, and manage streaming devices through the app.
HOW TO PAIR - YOUR PHONAK HEARING AIDS TO THE APP
Instructions:
  1. Download and open the My Phonak app.
  2. Click “Pair Device.”
  3. Take your hearing aids out of the charger.
  4. Select “Let’s Get Started,” then “Continue.”
  5. Wait until both hearing aids appear, then select them.
  6. Click “Pair” on both pairing notifications.
  7. Press “Continue” and wait for the connection.
  8. Once connected, you can adjust the volume and change programs at the top.
HOW TO CLEAN - YOUR RECEIVER IN THE EAR HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
  1. Take the hearing aids out of the charger.
  2. Open your cleaning package to find the brush.
  3. Use the brush to remove hair or debris from the two microphones.
  4. Brush around the “Push” button and along the bottom of the hearing aid.
  5. Brush the speaker (the part that goes into your ear) and remove any large pieces.
  6. Take out your cleaning cloth.
  7. Gently rub the entire hearing aid with the cloth to remove dust or debris.
  8. Use the cloth to wipe your charger.

 

*Note: Clean your devices daily.

HOW TO CLEAN - HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CUSTOM HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
  1. Take the hearing aids out of the charger.
  2. Find the cleaning tool in the box (includes a pick and a brush).
  3. Use the brush to dust off the microphone on the front of the device.
  4. Use the pick to clean the vent (hole at the bottom) to keep it clear.
  5. Clean the wax filter with the brush or pick.
  6. Wipe the entire hearing aid with a specialized cleaning cloth.
HOW TO CHANGE - YOUR RESOUND HEARING AID WAX FILTER
Instructions:
  1. Use a tissue to pinch and pull off the dome.
  2. Open your container.
  3. Take out a stick with an empty poker on one side and a replacement white circle on the other.
  4. Use the empty side of the stick to push into the receiver and pull out the old filter.
  5. Flip the stick and use the replacement side to insert the new filter.
  6. Place the dome back onto your hearing aid.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE WAX FILTER ON YOUR PHONAK HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
  1. Remove your hearing aid from the charger.
  2. Use a cloth to pull off the dome.
  3. Open your shield package.
  4. Turn the dial to align an empty slot with #1.
  5. Push your hearing aid straight down into the #1 slot to remove the old wax filter.
  6. Move to the #2 slot and push the hearing aid down to insert the new filter.
  7. Reattach the dome, pressing it until it snaps securely into place.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE WAX FILTER ON YOUR CUSTOM HEARING AID
Instructions:
  1. Take out the cleaning package.
  2. Remove one of the sticks; one side has an empty poker, and the other side has a replacement white circle.
  3. Use the empty side of the stick to push into the receiver and pull out the old wax filter.
  4. Flip the stick and use the replacement side to insert the new wax filter.
  5. The new wax filter is now in your hearing aid.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE BATTERY IN YOUR OVER THE EAR HEARING AID
Instructions:
  1. Open the battery compartment of your hearing aid.
  2. Turn over the new battery pack and pull the tab down to pop out the battery.
  3. Remove the sticky tab from the battery.
  4. Place the battery in the compartment with the shiny side facing up and the ridge side down.
  5. Close the battery compartment gently. It should close smoothly if the battery is correctly placed.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE BATTERY IN YOUR IN THE EAR HEARING AID
Instructions:
  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Turn the new battery package around and pull the tab down to release the battery.
  3. Place the battery in the compartment with the shiny side up and the ridge side down.
  4. Close the battery door. It should snap shut easily if the battery is correctly placed.
