HOW TO PAIR - YOUR SIGNIA HEARING DEVICES TO YOUR IPHONE
Instructions:
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Go to “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Hearing Devices.”
- For rechargeable hearing aids, place them in and out of their charger. For non-rechargeable, open and close the battery doors.
- When your hearing aids appear on the screen, click on one to get a “Bluetooth Device Pairing Request.”
- Select “Pair.”
- Repeat for the other hearing aid.
HOW TO CONNECT - YOUR RESOUND HEARING AIDS TO AN IPHONE
Instructions:
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Go to “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Hearing Devices.”
- Take your hearing aids out of the charger and let them turn on.
- Select your hearing aids when they appear on your phone.
- Press “Pair” for both hearing aids.
- Your programs will appear, and you’re connected.
Next, pair your hearing aids to the Resound app on your phone.
- Download the Resound Smart 3D app.
- Open the app.
- Take your hearing aids out of the charger.
- Click “Connect.”
- When prompted, put the hearing aids back in the charger for 10 seconds.
- Take them out again.
- Click “Okay” on your phone.
- Click “Continue.”
- You’re now connected to your phone and the app.
- Once connected, you can check battery levels, adjust volume, and manage streaming devices through the app.
HOW TO PAIR - YOUR PHONAK HEARING AIDS TO THE APP
Instructions:
- Download and open the My Phonak app.
- Click “Pair Device.”
- Take your hearing aids out of the charger.
- Select “Let’s Get Started,” then “Continue.”
- Wait until both hearing aids appear, then select them.
- Click “Pair” on both pairing notifications.
- Press “Continue” and wait for the connection.
- Once connected, you can adjust the volume and change programs at the top.
HOW TO CLEAN - YOUR RECEIVER IN THE EAR HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
- Take the hearing aids out of the charger.
- Open your cleaning package to find the brush.
- Use the brush to remove hair or debris from the two microphones.
- Brush around the “Push” button and along the bottom of the hearing aid.
- Brush the speaker (the part that goes into your ear) and remove any large pieces.
- Take out your cleaning cloth.
- Gently rub the entire hearing aid with the cloth to remove dust or debris.
- Use the cloth to wipe your charger.
*Note: Clean your devices daily.
HOW TO CLEAN - HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CUSTOM HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
- Take the hearing aids out of the charger.
- Find the cleaning tool in the box (includes a pick and a brush).
- Use the brush to dust off the microphone on the front of the device.
- Use the pick to clean the vent (hole at the bottom) to keep it clear.
- Clean the wax filter with the brush or pick.
- Wipe the entire hearing aid with a specialized cleaning cloth.
HOW TO CHANGE - YOUR RESOUND HEARING AID WAX FILTER
Instructions:
- Use a tissue to pinch and pull off the dome.
- Open your container.
- Take out a stick with an empty poker on one side and a replacement white circle on the other.
- Use the empty side of the stick to push into the receiver and pull out the old filter.
- Flip the stick and use the replacement side to insert the new filter.
- Place the dome back onto your hearing aid.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE WAX FILTER ON YOUR PHONAK HEARING AIDS
Instructions:
- Remove your hearing aid from the charger.
- Use a cloth to pull off the dome.
- Open your shield package.
- Turn the dial to align an empty slot with #1.
- Push your hearing aid straight down into the #1 slot to remove the old wax filter.
- Move to the #2 slot and push the hearing aid down to insert the new filter.
- Reattach the dome, pressing it until it snaps securely into place.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE WAX FILTER ON YOUR CUSTOM HEARING AID
Instructions:
- Take out the cleaning package.
- Remove one of the sticks; one side has an empty poker, and the other side has a replacement white circle.
- Use the empty side of the stick to push into the receiver and pull out the old wax filter.
- Flip the stick and use the replacement side to insert the new wax filter.
- The new wax filter is now in your hearing aid.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE BATTERY IN YOUR OVER THE EAR HEARING AID
Instructions:
- Open the battery compartment of your hearing aid.
- Turn over the new battery pack and pull the tab down to pop out the battery.
- Remove the sticky tab from the battery.
- Place the battery in the compartment with the shiny side facing up and the ridge side down.
- Close the battery compartment gently. It should close smoothly if the battery is correctly placed.
HOW TO CHANGE - THE BATTERY IN YOUR IN THE EAR HEARING AID
Instructions:
- Open the battery compartment.
- Turn the new battery package around and pull the tab down to release the battery.
- Place the battery in the compartment with the shiny side up and the ridge side down.
- Close the battery door. It should snap shut easily if the battery is correctly placed.
