Starkey Omega AI+ IIC hearing aid

Starkey Omega AI+ IIC

Starkey Omega AI+ IIC brings Starkey’s Omega AI technology to the Invisible-In-Canal (IIC) style, the smallest, most discreet hearing aid Starkey makes. Custom-fit to your ear, it rests deep in the second bend of the ear canal where no one can see it.

Omega AI is built for distinctive, clear, authentic sound. It understands and adapts to your hearing situation, is designed to enhance speech and reduce noise, and offers Edge Mode for on-demand clarity. Because an IIC is so small, it cannot accommodate manual volume or memory controls, and its small batteries need more frequent changing. An NYC Hearing Associates audiologist will confirm whether your ear canal and hearing loss are a good fit for Omega AI+ IIC.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know Omega AI+ IIC is the right hearing aid for me?

Omega AI+ IIC is best when discretion is the top priority and you want Omega AI sound in Starkey’s smallest custom style. Fit depends on your ear canal size, hearing loss, and lifestyle. An NYC Hearing Associates audiologist will compare it with other Starkey options after your hearing evaluation.

Do I need a hearing test before getting hearing aids?

Yes. A comprehensive hearing evaluation guides both the recommendation and the programming. We offer evaluations at our NYC and Garden City locations.

Is the Omega AI+ IIC completely invisible?

It is designed to sit deep in the ear canal for minimal visibility. How discreet it looks depends on your ear anatomy. Your audiologist will check candidacy during the impression and fitting process.

Does Omega AI+ IIC connect to my phone?

Wireless and app features vary by hearing aid style, and the tiny IIC size limits what fits inside. Your audiologist will review which Omega AI features are available in the IIC style. If streaming and app control matter more than maximum discretion, we may recommend a larger Omega AI style instead.

What happens at a hearing aid fitting?

For custom IICs we take ear impressions, build the devices to your ears, then verify comfort and sound quality at the fitting and follow-ups.

Are hearing aids covered by insurance?

Some commercial plans do cover hearing aids, but Medicare does not. We are happy to look into your insurance so you know exactly what is covered and whether anything would be out of pocket. We also offer leasing and financing with low monthly payments if that is a better fit. Book an appointment and we will get started, or upload your insurance card so we can check your benefits before you come in.
